Sincerely Me...

Peering into the kaleidoscope, she was awestruck at the beauty formed by the floating colored glass pieces, and even more impressed by the changing images; each were equally exquisite when light unveiled their most vibrant nature. Ironically, people are the same way – all possessing exquisite personalities that illuminate within their passion. For me, this passion is teaching, and I have been blessed with many of the qualities detrimental to teaching – dedication, organization, consistency, creativity, and synergism. These assets better assist me to help my students illuminate their kaleidoscopes of individuality. Dedication is critical because teaching is a profession in which hearts as well as minds need to be invested. It has been instilled in me to have a great work ethic and strong commitment, for anything worth doing is worth doing 100 percent. In addition, I am extremely organized, priding myself upon the fact that I pay particular attention to detail and am meticulous throughout my roles and responsibilities. Likewise, consistency is a quality close to my heart as it provides reliability and unwavering effort in all that I do. Having said this, I am also very versatile, adjusting myself to different means of learning and expression. If there is a way to change the perspective, add color, or a splash of surprise I will be the first to try! At the same token, synergism is not a new concept to me, for I have extensive experience working collaboratively on teams making sure that everyone’s opinion is heard and the group is working toward shared goals. These assets like the colored pieces of glass create matchless beauty and inspire others’ individuality when illuminated.
